Hunted all over for this timer and couldnt find it. While all 32-bit versions of Windows, including XP, Vista and 7, will continue to support 16-bit software programs such as this one, the trend is toward 64-bit computer systems, which will not allow 16-bit programs to run. Trouble was that Johnny Castaway was ok when not using the virtual environment and fun to watch him frustrated on the island etc and cooking boots to eat and mumbling, but I decided I had enough with him and wanted him shut off. I decided to add Johnny Castaway Screensaver to this virtual machine which I had on an old floppy disk and sure enough Johnny Castaway screensaver ran in the virtual environment as well as sound worked too.
A while back I installed Windows 98SE to Virtual PC under Windows XP Pro.
